Session 7 of 10 - Mr. Kornblum, a highly experienced trial and litigation lawyer for over 50 years, will conduct ten 75-minute Webinars sessions on the Essentials of Civil Litigation with the objective of helping lawyers at all levels to evaluate their approach to handling civil cases. The course will explore what you need to consider and how to focus on refining your skills so you can better serve your client in litigated matters. The course will cover topics from when you first agree to represent your client through trial.
Session Seven is designed to help you develop and maintain good cross-examination skills. The emphasis will not only be on the organization of the topics for cross, but also on the techniques to use, e.g. when you get a response that concedes a point or fact favorable to your case. Mr. Kornblum will also provide his recommendations for maintaining a professional demeanor throughout, for avoiding over questioning, and for making your points effectively.
