The course will explore new guidance concerning FCPA enforcement issued by the Trump Administration and consider how shifting priorities will impact FCPA enforcement going forward. The program will also offer practical tips and guidance for how companies and outside counsel can use the new guidance to effectively advocate for positive outcomes when engaging the Department of Justice concerning an anticorruption investigation. Risk mitigation strategies and best practices for compliance policies in light of the new guidance will also be covered. Finally, the program will examine recent trends in FCPA enforcement and discuss example cases.
