Essential Updates! The faculty will discuss when and how secured and unsecured loan transactions may be conducted electronically. The discussion will focus on the requirements and benefits of the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the state Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and how these two statutes interplay with the Uniform Commercial Code, both before and after giving effect to the 2022 amendments to the Uniform Commercial Code. The panelists will use practical examples to highlight the discussion.
