COVID brought to light serious deficiencies in Long-Term care that existed long before the pandemic. While much of the focus regarding long-term care during COVID was on immunity statutes, there are also very practical issues aside from COVID. These ancillary COVID issues raise possible defenses, which require preparation early in an investigation.
