Todd Heffner is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. He has devoted his career to serving clients in the construction industry, focusing on federal court litigation and arbitration.
Todd’s practice covers all aspects of construction law — representing owners, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, and designers. While he focuses on litigation and arbitration, he also spends time reviewing contracts, advising clients during the course of a project, and helping clients with all areas of their businesses.
Todd’s construction practice includes the representation of companies headquartered both in the United States and abroad, including companies from Europe, Asia, and Australia. He has also worked on a range of projects, including chemical plants, airports, military bases, water treatment plants, environmental projects, hospitals, high-rises, and a variety of other commercial and industrial projects.
Todd also works in eDiscovery, which is an inescapable and integral part of every dispute. To stay on the cutting edge of technologies and best practices, Todd is a member of The Sedona Conference and on the roster of Working Group 1. Because of his knowledge of eDiscovery, Todd is able to make what is often the most laborious and tedious portion of any dispute run smoothly and efficiently. This knowledge also allows Todd to advise clients about best practices for their data management and how to be prepared in case of a lawsuit. This type of front-end planning can save time, money, and headaches down the road.
