Taylor Ferris, an attorney in the firm’s Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP, focuses her practice on representing management in all areas of employment law, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
Ms. Ferris represents clients in a wide variety of employment matters, including cases brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, New York Labor Law, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Human Rights Law.
Ms. Ferris also provides guidance to employers concerning day-to-day labor and employment issues, including, but not limited to, employment policies, employment agreements, severance agreements, workplace investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Ms. Ferris also carefully tracked federal and state legislation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help clients navigate the rapid changes impacting employers during difficult and unprecedented times.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ferris was a senior associate at a boutique law firm where she represented plaintiffs in wage and hour matters, including class and collective actions, and individual discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under federal, state, and local laws.
