Tamara Alexander Lynch received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. from New York University. Immediately prior to joining NYU Langone Health, Tamara worked in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she was responsible for risk management, and advising senior leadership on strategy for responding to Congressional oversight and investigations involving critical public health issues such as medical device safety, prescription drug pricing, and opioid abuse.
Previously, Tamara was Counsel to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in the U.S. House of Representatives. In that capacity, Tamara served as the lead attorney for the Subcommittee on Health Care, Benefits, and Administrative Rules, as well as for investigations into the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and other programs administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Tamara is admitted to practice in New York.
