For 15 years, Sue Ann Orsini has been the Legislative Research Attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP, in Washington, DC. Sue Ann graduated from the University of Florida summa cum laude with a B.A. in 1998. She then attended Vermont Law School, graduating in 2002 with her law degree. While in law school, she worked in the law library, and this experience led her to obtain a Masters in Library Science from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC in 2007. Since that time, Sue Ann has worked for Fried Frank as the only dedicated Legislative Attorney, providing high level research and analysis of both legislative and regulatory matters for both the firm and its clients. Sue Ann particularly enjoys compiling legislative histories as a means of studying the evolution of American national identity because who we are as a nation can be found in our laws.
Sue Ann is a member of the American Association of Law Librarians (AALL) and a past President of the Legislative Special Interest Section of the Law Librarian’s Society of DC (LLSDC). She is a member of the Florida and the District of Columbia bars.
