Shauna Itri concentrates her practice on complex litigation, including representing class of plaintiffs in consumer lawsuits and whistleblowers in qui tam or False Claims Act law suits in state and federal courts throughout the United States and tax and securities whistleblowers with claims under the IRS and SEC whistleblower programs. Shauna has worked on a variety of cases that have returned well over $3 billion to the state and federal governments pursuant to the False Claims Acts. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Shauna received a B.A. and an M.A. from Stanford University, where she captioned the University’s Women’s soccer team and received her J.D. from Villanova University. Shauna is frequently the author of published materials and “National Whistleblower Lawyer” website and speaks regularly at national and regional conferences on the various whistleblower laws and aspects of complex litigation. Shauna is an avid volunteer and educator. She has taught as an adjunct professor for many years at Widener University and Villanova University, was the President of the Junior League of Philadelphia, and is Co-Chair of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Stanford University Alumni Undergraduate Admissions Volunteer Interview Program. Shauna has been the recipient of many awards including most recently she was one of about 40 attorneys who received the Philadelphia 2019 and 2020 Best of the Bar Award honor.
