Saty Talati is Managing Counsel at Mahindra Automotive North America, which is Mahindra’s North American automotive manufacturing, design, engineering and development center. Saty has worked at MANA for four years and managed the defense of Mahindra in an ITC section 337 investigation initiated by Fiat Chrysler in which FCA claimed that Mahindra’s Roxor off-highway vehicle infringed FCA trademarks and trade dress. This investigation involved both a 100-day proceeding and a modification proceeding in which the Commission determined that Mahindra’s redesigned vehicle does not infringe FCA’s trademarks.
