Rob Fields has over 40 years of experience in providing advice to his legal clients regarding executive compensation and employee benefits. He is quite effective in addressing the business issues related to this area of the law and in tailoring executive and incentive compensation programs (and employee benefits arrangements) to help business and individual clients attain their personal and financial goals in a cost-effective manner. Prior to establishing his own firm, Mr. Fields was a partner and chair of the executive compensation practice group at a large, national law firm. Included in the large number of corporation transactions in which Mr. Fields provided executive compensation and benefits advice are the acquisition by Citizens Communications of the local telephone subsidiaries of Global Crossing for $3 Billion and the acquisition by Terra Networks, S.A. of Lycos for $12.5 Billion. Mr. Fields earned his B.A. from Duke University in 1975 and his J.D. from the Cornell Law School in 1978.
