Raymond Joseph Burby IV, Esq. is a partner in the Atlanta office of Bryan Cave LLP. He is a former federal and state prosecutor whose practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, corporate internal investigations, and complex civil litigation with the government, including the defense of False Claims Act cases. Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Mr. Burby served for five years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia. While he prosecuted a wide range of criminal offenses, he focused heavily on health care fraud and other economic crimes. Mr. Burby was involved in several high-profile prosecutions at the U.S. Attorney’s Office including the case against Centennial Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph. He began his career by serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Atlanta. Mr. Burby is a frequent speaker at white collar crime institutes and seminars.
