He assists businesses and individuals in cases pending in court, arbitration and administrative agencies, and has tried cases before judges, juries, arbitrators, and administrative law judges, with a focus on business lawsuits, contract litigation, condominium association litigation, shareholder disputes (business divorces), cryptocurrency disputes, and professional negligence cases. He advises businesses and condominium associations on governance and employment matters, and provides guidance to businesses and individuals on restrictive covenants.
In August 2021, the American Bar Association published Mr. Haeberle and Mr. Patterson’s TROs and Preliminary Injunctions: Handling the Business Emergency, a guide on emergency remedies. Mr. Haeberle has been featured on CNN.com and Law.com regarding cryptocurrency disputes. He also presents continuing legal education classes for attorneys on many topics, including alter ego liability and collections, non-compete agreements and restrictive covenants, attorney ethics, and contract litigation.
Mr. Haeberle graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2012 with honors. While in school, he participated in the Hinton Moot Court program. During law school, he also was involved in the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship where he assisted small business owners in handling corporate legal issues. He spent time during law school at the Environmental Protection Agency, the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. In these varied positions, he gained experience in many practice areas ranging from environmental to criminal law.
Prior to joining the Patterson Law Firm, Mr. Haeberle was an associate at a Chicago law firm where he litigated a variety of cases, including breach of contract and consumer fraud cases, on behalf of businesses and individuals at the trial and appellate level.
Mr. Haeberle joined the Patterson Law Firm, LLC in September 2014 and was elevated to member in January 2017. Mr. Haeberle is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin.
