Michael B. Gerrard, Esq., a partner in Arnold & Porter LLP, heads the New York office and its environmental practice. He has tried numerous cases and argued many appeals in federal and state courts and administrative tribunals, and handled the environmental aspects of many transactions and development projects. Mr. Gerrard, the 2004-2005 chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources, has also chaired the Executive Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Environmental Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He has been an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Mr. Gerrard is editor of the authoritative book, Global Climate Change and U.S. Law (American Bar Association 2007).
