Mark Chandler, Esq. is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Cisco Systems, where he manages a team of 160 professionals. Previously, he was Managing Attorney at Cisco for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, based in Paris, and general counsel of StrataCom, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco in 1996, and also served as vice president for corporate development and general counsel of Maxtor Corporation, a Fortune 500 manufacturer of computer data storage devices, from 1988 to 1994. Mr. Chandler received a bachelor™s degree in 1978 from Harvard College and a doctor of jurisprudence from Stanford Law School in 1981.
