Linda Gerstel serves as a full time arbitrator and mediator and teaches in the field of alternative dispute resolution in law schools in the United States and internationally . She started her career as an associate and then litigation partner at Anderson Kill where she gained experience in representing clients and serving as a neutral in arbitrations and mediations.
She has broad experience in business disputes gained during thirty years of private practice and appointments as a arbitrator and mediator. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in her career as a litigator. The cases she has handled have included complex domestic and international commercial litigation, including class actions and disputes arising out of contracts including, employment matters, real estate & environmental matters, insurance, intellectual property, trusts & estates, secured transactions, bankruptcy, banking issues, antitrust, partnerships, retailing, franchising, manufacturing and consumer products.
