Ken Callander focuses on working with corporate legal departments to help them get more value and predictability from their outside counsel relationships. This includes not only legal operations and process efficiency but also an emphasis on moving his clients from hourly fees to more value-based fee arrangements. His clients include companies focused on technology, health care, construction, and the sharing economy along with private equity firms and large conglomerates.
Ken spent more than two decades at Hewlett Packard in leadership roles in operations, professional services marketing, international pricing, business development, and corporate marketing. He later worked at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, as Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Business Development. At DWT he implemented numerous business development programs around alternative fees, matter management (program management), new service delivery models, sales and lead generation, client feedback, lateral hiring and productization.
He has a BS in Physics/Physical Sciences from Stanford University and is a Certified Pricing Professional (CPP). Ken is based in San Francisco.
