Joshua A. Stein, Esq. is Special Counsel in the law firm of Proskauer Rose LLP, where he is a member of its Labor and Employment Law Department and co-head of the Accessibility & Accommodations Group. He has extensive experience advising businesses on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and his accessibility and accommodations practice includes representing employers and public accommodations in litigation, administrative proceedings, and Department of Justice investigations involving discrimination based on disability. Mr. Stein, who has written and spoken about the ADA, disability discrimination, accommodation, and access to public accommodations, also counsels on general employment matters, and handles a wide range of employment litigation matters.
