John J. Jacobsen, Jr., Esq. is a shareholder at Vedder Price P.C. His areas of concentration include design, implementation and administration of all types of employee benefits plans and counseling for plan fiduciaries relating to plan administration and to litigation issues. An active member of the Employee Benefits Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and the Employee Benefits Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, Mr. Jacobsen has lectured and written on employee benefits issues. He is the co-author of ERISA Claims and Litigation and Fiduciary Responsibilities of Plan Sponsors, both published by Federal Publications. Mr. Jacobsen has been recognized by his peers as an Illinois Super Lawyer (2007 edition) and Who's Who Legal (2008 edition).
