Elan advises clients on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, terminations, accommodations, family and medical leaves, workforce restructurings, pay transparency, and employee benefit plans, as well as compliance with wage and hour laws. She helps clients minimize legal risk and optimize best practices in the workplace.
Elan also assists clients with internal investigations on labor, employment, and trade secret matters and represents employers in employment litigation and administrative hearings. Drawing upon more than a decade of litigation experience, she guides clients through all stages of the litigation process.
Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Elan served as Vice President of Employment, Incentives & Pensions of a corporate and investment bank, where she provided employment counseling and litigation services. Previously, she was a litigator at a national law firm.
