Courtney K. Stout, Esq., an attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of Bryan Cave LLP, concentrates her practice in the firm’s financial institutions industry team. She focuses her practice on banking, electronic commerce, and privacy. She represents and advises bank and non-bank clients, money services businesses, high-technology, internet, telecommunications, retailers, and a variety of other businesses. Ms. Stout’s clients include internet banks, as well as other premier financial services providers that rely on Internet or other non-traditional delivery channels. She also advises clients on the state and federal laws and regulations governing electronic payments. Ms. Stout has extensive experience in domestic and global sourcing arrangements. Before joining Bryan Cave, Ms. Stout, who was first admitted to practice in Georgia in 1992, served as an Associate in the Atlanta offices of two large, international law firms, and also practiced as an international legal consultant for the corporate technology practice of a mid-sized New Zealand law firm. Her experience also includes serving as Counsel for a television and entertainment company in Atlanta, Ga.
