Born in Farmers Branch, Texas, raised in Dallas and Denton, Texas, Charles Peckham graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree, and he received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in December 1991.
Charles is “AV” peer review rated as a preeminent lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell and also rated “Superb” with a rating of 10 by AVVO. Charles is also a trained mediator. Charles serves on the State Bar of Texas Pattern Jury Charge Committee for “Business, Consumer, Insurance, and Employment” for a third three-year term.
Charles is a Panel Arbitrator on the AAA – American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators in Employment Law
Charles has authored legal articles and seminar papers and has spoken at many legal seminars. He has been featured on many national and local television and radio news broadcasts on his cases and legal issues. He is proud of the results he has obtained for his clients. Charles’ practice focused on many areas of litigation including employment, real estate, commercial, maritime, and aviation law.
Charles and his wife are actively involved in church at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Houston and other civic activities. They are the parents of triplets born in June 2001 who attended St. Michael Catholic School, St. Agnes Academy, and Strake Jesuit College Preparatory school. All three are presently attending Texas A&M University in College Station.
Charles has acted as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America Troop 354 in Houston and as Parent Committee Chair. One of his sons is an Eagle Scout.
