Antonia Savaria is the Founder and CEO of Atlantia Advisers, a New York City-based strategic advisory, regulatory compliance and risk management boutique providing solutions to both traditional investment advisers, hedge funds, wealth managers and private equity firms, as well as FinTech and digital assets securities firms. Ms. Savaria’s current focus is on providing strategic guidance to innovative and disruptive technology firms that utilize blockchain and smart contract technologies while remaining fully compliant with applicable regulatory frameworks and jurisdiction-specific regulations in the US and select jurisdictions in Europe.
Prior to founding Atlantia Advisers, Ms. Savaria worked as a regulatory compliance attorney and risk management executive in the investment management space and acted in legal, compliance and risk management capacities at global multinationals as well as entrepreneurial ventures, including Morgan Stanley, KPMG and Focus Financial Partners. She has provided counsel on legal, regulatory and compliance issues arising under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, SEC and FINRA rules, as well as regulations of the FCA, the Ontario Securities Commission and Autorité des marchés financiers.
Ms. Savaria is a thought leader and writes and is quoted on topics related to regulatory developments and trends for FinTech and digital assets and other relevant subjects, including cybersecurity, for publications such as, The New York Law Journal and Hedge Fund Alert and participates as a speaker in discussions and panels, such as panels organized and hosted by Stifel, Fox Rothschild, and The Monday Club.
Passionate about FinTech innovation, Ms. Savaria is a strategic adviser to FinTech Connector, a mission driven global organization that revolutionizes the way professionals, investors and FinTech entrepreneurs connect and collaborate, using cutting- edge technology, a token-driven ecosystem to encourage and reward engagement, and community hubs in majors cities worldwide.
