Allison Tramontana practices with the firm’s trademark and copyright groups, where she engages in both prosecution and litigation. She regularly assists clients with matters related to trademark clearance searches, prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), licensing, and helping businesses build and manage their brands. In addition to handling matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Allison has gained significant experience litigating before the Federal Courts, including matters related to trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and copyrights. Allison is also a registered patent attorney with a life sciences background and engages in patent drafting and prosecution before the USPTO.
Allison received extensive training in the writing discipline and has been published in numerous legal and creative writing publications. She is a graduate of Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Nonfiction Writing with minors in Chemistry and Political Science. At the University of Pittsburgh, Allison was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society for the Sciences and Liberal Arts. While in law school at Villanova, Allison served as an executive board member of both the Villanova Environmental Law Journal and Intellectual Property Society, was named a Dean’s Scholar, and received the award for Best Brief at the 2018 Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition.
