Philip A. Greenberg, Esq., who has been a litigator in the State and Federal Courts in New York and New Jersey for over 50 years shares his knowledge, experience, and "tricks of the trade" on how to handle every aspect of a civil trial, both jury and bench trials.
The course will include preparing for and delivering opening and closing statements to the judge and jury, and the best use of motion practice before, during and after the trial. Among the numerous strategy tips will be how to prepare yourself and your witnesses for direct and cross-examination. The course will also include a brief review of the key rules of evidence that you will need for your trials. Finally, because many times the trial is preparatory to an appeal, regardless of the outcome of the trial, Mr. Greenberg will teach you how to "protect the record", to maximize your chances if success of any appeal from the trial court.
