Obiamaka P. Madubuko, Esq., is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in its New York office, and is co-chair of her firm’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) & International Anticorruption Group. She focuses her practice in anti-corruption and fraud matters, advises U.S. based companies doing business in international markets, and is also an experienced trial lawyer. A published author who has written extensively on anti-corruption compliance matters and other white collar topics, and whose articles have appeared in The New York Law Journal, BNA Mergers & Acquisitions Law Report, BNA International World Securities Law Report, Law.com, Law360, and Bloomberg News, Ms. Madubuko was recognized as a 2010 Dynamic Achiever by The Network Journal for her professional accomplishments and important contributions to the African-American community. She recently authored a chapter on managing FCPA risks in Sub-Saharan Africa published in Understanding Anti-Corruption Issues In Africa (Thomas Reuters/ Asapatore 2010).
