Michael  Titowsky, Esq.

MICHAEL B. TITOWSKY, ESQ. Hearing Officer, New York County Michael B. Titowsky, Esq. is a highly experienced attorney who has focused the majority of his legal practice on litigating personal injury, labor law, and medical malpractice matters. Throughout his 40-year legal career, he has represented clients throughout the New York Metropolitan area in thousands of cases both in court litigations and private mediations. 

Prior to joining NAM, Mr. Titowsky was a partner in a prominent New York law firm. During his 29-year tenure with the firm, he handled a variety of personal injury related matters including high-exposure NY labor law, premises liability, motor vehicle, general liability, insurance coverage/indemnity, and medical malpractice cases from inception to trial and appeals.

For the past 15 years, Mr. Titowsky has focused on the representation of his firm's clients in both private and court-ordered mediations. He has also served as a court appointed mediator for personal injury and labor law cases in the New York State Supreme Court. A strong advocate of the value of Alternative Dispute Resolution, his years of mediation experience have supplemented his understanding and sensitivity to the physical and emotional hardships that present hemselves in personal injury cases. He possesses an exemplary ability to communicate and connect with all parties to resolve the case in a cost effective and satisfactory manner. He is well known and respected in the legal community for his integrity, legal acumen, and reputation for being fair-minded and compassionate. 

Mr. Titowsky has been invited to lecture at bar associations and professional organizations on topics including labor law, contractual indemnity, insurance coverage, premises liability, and bad faith claims. He has also written several legal articles which have been published in various journals and legal publications, including The Torts Insurance and Compensation Journal of the New York State Bar. 

Mr. Titowsky is available to mediate and arbitrate cases throughout New York State.
