Click here to find out moreKimberly Black is an Associate in Patterson Belknap’s Business Reorganization and Creditors' Rights Practice. She has experience representing both creditors and debtors in large chapter 11 cases. She also has experience in cross-border cases and chapter 15 proceedings. Ms. Black recently served as counsel to the court-appointed Examiner in the chapter 11 cases of FTX Trading Ltd. and its affiliates. In this position, she investigated issues critical to the FTX bankruptcy cases, including potential conflicts of interest and fraudulent transfers, that were summarized in two publicly filed reports. Ms. Black received her J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from Emory University.
