Deborah Hayes, Esq.
Deborah K. Hayes, Esq. is Vice President and Associate General Counsel for The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. As part of the investment legal team, her primary practice responsibilities include supporting Lincoln’s general account investment activities, with particular emphasis on private placement transactions. She also advises Lincoln on various topics relating to implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act, including Title VII on Derivatives, and is engaged in developing and advocating industry positions in the rulemaking process. A member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and a Fellow in the American College of Investment Counsel, where she serves as a member of its Transaction Process Management Committee, Ms. Hayes is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law and is admitted to practice in Tennessee and North Carolina.
