Schwartz focuses his practice primarily on business law and business litigation involving such matters as intellectual property litigation, shareholder disputes, derivative actions, non-competes and liquidated damage litigation, contract creation and litigation, and company formation, as well as representation in family law cases for clients throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona and Massachusetts.

Mr. Schwartz earned an undergraduate degree cum laude in finance and economics from Michigan Technological University in 2006 while on a full hockey scholarship and earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude and in the top ten students in his class, from the William Mitchell College of Law in 2011. Admitted to practice in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona and Massachusetts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Schwartz has also written for Attorney at Law Magazine, Hearsay, the American Bar Association and the Michigan Bar Association and has presented at multiple continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Schwartz is a Board Member and Officer of the Minnesota State Bar Association Foundation Board, a Board Member of the Minnesota State Board of Legal Certification, a Member of the Minnesota Advisory Committee on the General Rules of Practice, and a Board Member of the Minnesota State Board of Continuing Legal Education.
Prior to entering law school in 2008, Mr. Schwartz played professional hockey and Division 1 college hockey.
