Bernie Burk is currently a Visiting Associate Professor at PennState Law in University Park, PA. He writes on ethics and professional conduct, as well as empirical studies on the legal profession and the legal academy. With Nancy Rapoport of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Law, and Veronica Finkelstein, Asst. U.S. Attorney for the E.D. Pa. and adjunct at Drexel University School of Law and Rutgers Law School Camden, he has just completed a Professional Responsibility textbook entitled Ethical Lawyering: A Guide for the Well-Intentioned for Aspen Press. He’s also a regular blogger on The Faculty Lounge (www.thefacultylounge.org). In addition, Prof. Burk engages in consulting and expert witness work in the areas of legal ethics and professional conduct. He attended Yale College and Stanford Law School.
