Barbara Kolsun, Esq., is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Stuart Weitzman, LLC, where she is responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of all legal activities of the company, including, without limitation, review of all contracts; advising the company with respect to trademarks, copyright, domain name, and intellectual property issues; supervising and managing all litigation matters; advising the company in connection with and drafting revised and updated company employee manual and review of employee policies, including sexual harassment and discrimination policies; and working closely with HR department to create, develop and foster corporate policies. Previously, she served as General Counsel or Assistant General Counsel in a number of other companies in the fashion industry; and she also worked at law firms involved in intellectual property law issues and/or litigation. Ms. Kolsun, who frequently speaks and writes on fashion law issues, is the Co-Editor and Author of Fashion Law: A Guide for Designers, Fashion Executives, and Attorneys (Fairchild Publications, 2010).
