This program provides a comprehensive framework for integrating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) into criminal defense mitigation. Participants will explore how BPD affects behavior, emotional regulation, decision-making, and culpability. 

The course examines how BPD can be identified, evaluated, and incorporated into mitigation strategies at both pre-plea and sentencing stages. It also addresses challenges in representing clients with BPD and how to translate clinical findings into persuasive advocacy.
