Aditya Shrivastava focuses his practice on civil and criminal federal tax litigation. His experience includes income tax litigation, flow through partnership cases, conservation easement deductions, and a variety of other tax cases and controversies. Aditya has experience as a litigator throughout multiple stages of the controversy process, including audit procedures, IRS Appeals negotiations, tax court petitions and proceedings, post-IRS Appeals mediation, and federal court actions.

Aditya has experience with federal, state, and local tax compliance issues. He has helped corporations and partnerships with excise tax laws, payroll tax compliance, and filing of tax requirements for national and state Political Action Committees (PACs). He is also a department editor on the Journal of Taxation.

In addition, Aditya maintains an active pro bono practice. Through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer's Foundation he represents domestic violence victims seeking protective orders against their abusers. He is involved with Jones Day's unaccompanied minors project and has helped several unaccompanied minors secure necessary findings of fact to permit these children to seek Special Immigration Juvenile Status, which then permits them to obtain lawful permanent residency. Aditya also works closely with the Atlanta Humane Society and was honored as an Atlanta Humane Hero by the organization in 2017.
