George Colindres, Esq. is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in its San Diego office. Mr. Colindres, who focuses his practice on emerging companies and venture capital, serves on his firm’s Racial and Ethnic Diversity Committee, Pro Bono and Community Service Committee as well as the Green Initiatives Committee. He represents high technology and life sciences emerging companies in several areas, including preferred stock financings, convertible promissory note financings, venture debt financings, M&A transactions and preparation for initial public offerings; corporate governance; commercial and licensing agreements; e-commerce and web 2.0 agreements; and compensation and equity incentive plan matters. He is a member of San Diego CONNECT and the San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum and lectures on venture capital and related issues.
